While the Sketchy mobile app is not a downloaded app from the app store, it is a Progressive Web App a Progressive Web App (PWA) where service workers, manifests, and other web-platform features in combination with progressive enhancement to give you an experience on par with native apps. This means we are using the latest mobile technology supported on Android and iOS/iPadOS to support an app that can be pinned to your home screen just like any other app. This gives you quick and easy access to the content you need, right when you need it! Aside from the slightly different installation steps, your in-app experience will still be seamless and optimized for mobile. It also sets the stage for us to provide some differentiated experiences later on so you can expect it to get better and better!
