What is Klarna?
Klarna is a payment option that lets you split the cost of eligible Sketchy plans into 4 interest-free payments*, instead of paying the full amount up front.
How does Pay in 4 work?
Pay in 4 splits your purchase into 4 interest-free payments: 25% at the time of purchase, then the remaining 3 payments every 2 weeks over 6 weeks.*
Which Sketchy plans can I pay for with Klarna?
Sketchy Medical — 24-month plan
MCAT Prep Essentials — 12-month plan
Klarna isn't currently offered on other plan lengths or products.
How does it work?
1. Log in to your Sketchy account, or create one.
2. Select an eligible plan (Sketchy Medical 24-month or MCAT Prep Essentials 12-month).
3. At the payment step, select Klarna. You'll be redirected to Klarna to complete your payment details, then returned to Sketchy to finish checkout.
4. Your first Klarna payment is charged at checkout and your Sketchy subscription starts right away. The 7-day free trial isn't included with Klarna purchases.
When will I be charged?
Your first payment is charged when you complete checkout. The remaining 3 payments are charged automatically every 2 weeks, for a total of 4 payments over 6 weeks.*
Is there interest or fees?
Pay in 4 charges no interest.* Klarna may charge a fee for late payments.
Is the 7-day free trial available with Klarna?
A free trial isn't available when you pay with Klarna. Klarna purchases start immediately at checkout instead of beginning with the 7-day free trial. If you want the trial, choose standard checkout.
If your trial has ended and you decide to subscribe later, you can use Klarna on that purchase.
Do I need to apply or get approved?
Klarna makes its own approval decision when you select it at checkout. Sketchy doesn't have visibility into or control over that decision.
